Welcome to the Tea Studio!​

The Tea Studio is where all of our tea is blended, packed, and served to the highest standard in our lovely coastal fishing village, Mallaig. We wanted to offer something spectacular to make that reward of reaching the end of the Road to the Isles that wee bit sweeter - and so we give you the Tea Experience. 

Although we serve everything from espressos to double shot oat milk mochas, our specialty is tea. With our 14 unique and specially blended in-house teas, we strive to match the extraordinary essence of the west coast by combining worlds of flavours into a singular cup. 

We’re just a stone-throw away from Mallaig’s train station. You can find us on Google Maps at ‘Tea Studio, Mallaig’ or simply follow the pavement round to the left of the Morrison building and keep walking until you see the RNLI Lifeboat shop - you can’t miss us! 

Once inside our idyllic setup, our tea-trained staff will be happy to recommend teas that align with your preferences and provide service with a smile. We have a selection of quality cakes and bakes that are handmade in small batches from local bakeries and businesses, as well as some delicious gluten-free and vegan options. These treats are the perfect accompaniment to any tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. You can also sample some of the finest Scottish ice cream from our ice cream counter too! 

Wherever you take yourself on the west coast, take some of the West Highland Tea Company with you - by cup, by cake, or by a pack of our loose leaf tea to enjoy at home. All of our tea and other gorgeous gifts can be purchased in our Tea Studio or from our gift shop around the corner in the Morrison Building.
